Tag Watch Repair

We get a lot of questions about Tag watches and whether they are worth the money, how nice are they really ?? etc.

People approach us constantly with a Tag and they ask us questions like is it real? How much is this worth. Well the truth is, if you don’t know it’s real, it probably isn’t! Tag watches are quality watches and you can feel the difference in a quality watch. Tag watches are what we consider ‘High-End Swiss Watches‘ and we pay special attention to treating them that way. Tag Heuer traces its roots to 1860 and is based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. This company is a regular contributor to Basel World annually where they showcase their latest watches to the public. Edouard Heuer, the company founder, patented his first chronograph in 1882 and in 1887 patented an ‘oscillating pinion’ still used by major watchmakers of mechanical chronographs. An oscillating pinion in a watch is a movable shaft mounted with two sprockets. The one pinion is in constant engagement with the second wheel of the watch movement, while the opposite after pressing the start-pusher after a short swing grips into the chronograph center wheel. By this the connection is established, and the chronograph is running. By pressing another button the oscillating pinion is again moved away from the center wheel, and the Chronograph stops. Beautiful, right? TAG Heuer’s current watch lines include Grand Carrera, Formula One, Aquaracer and Monaco.
