Enicar Watch Company was founded, in 1913, by Artiste Racine and his wife Emma Blatt in La Chaux de-fonds, Switzerland. The brand name is a reverse on their family name. Enicar had success with their teardrop-shaped pocket watch and successfully exported around the world. Distribution increased into the 1950s and 70s. Today, the brand is successfully imported to China and is owned by Wah Ming Hong Ltd, of Hong Kong – a former Enicar distributor. The brand still maintains an address in Switzerland.
