Dietrich was founded in 2010 in Zurich, Switzerland by French designer Emmanuel Dietrich, who sought to create timepieces that blended Swiss craftsmanship with organic, nature-inspired forms rather than the strict geometry of traditional watchmaking. Drawing on his Paris design background, he developed a philosophy centered on biomorphic shapes, layered textures, and “living machine” aesthetics that made his watches feel sculptural and emotional on the wrist.
