Eberhard & Co. was founded in 1887 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland by Georges Eberhard, emerging as a specialist in precision chronographs during a period when wrist-timing instruments were just beginning to take shape. Through the early and mid-20th century the company built a strong reputation by developing advanced single-button and dual-button chronographs, military watches, and elegant dress-timers that combined mechanical innovation with refined styling.
