The Romain Jerome Watch Company, founded in 2004 in Geneva by Yvan Arpa, set out to blend storytelling with avant-garde design. Backed by private investors, the brand gained fame for using extraordinary materials like Titanic steel, moon dust, and volcanic ash in bold, limited-edition pieces. Early successes such as the Titanic-DNA and Moon Dust-DNA collections positioned Romain Jerome as a pioneer of experiential luxury, attracting collectors who valued craftsmanship tied to history and pop culture.

Rebranded as “RJ” in 2018, the company expanded into gaming- and superhero-themed watches, launching designs inspired by Space Invaders and Batman.
