These oversized pilot watches were designed for maximum legibility in the cockpit, featuring large luminous numerals, high-contrast dials, sword-style hands, and oversized crowns that could be operated while wearing gloves. Steinhart recreated this classic flieger style with modern Swiss automatic movements and updated materials while preserving the clean instrument-like appearance that made the original B-Uhr watches iconic among aviation enthusiasts and collectors.
