Important: You are solely responsible for properly packaging and insuring your timepiece while shipping it to our repair facility. We are not responsible for loss or damage incurred during inbound shipping. If a shipment issue occurs, we are happy to assist in locating the timepiece to the best of our ability, including coordinating with the carrier when possible. Optional insurance is available for return shipping at an additional cost.
Terms and Conditions
Times Ticking- Terms and Conditions
Last Updated Date: December 29, 2025
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Times Ticking (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, in-store services, and any related communications. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We provide watch repair services. We provide clock repair services. We will diagnose the problem with your timepiece and provide you with an estimate for the repair. We will only perform the repair if you approve the estimate.
2. Estimates and Payment
Estimates are provided based on our initial assessment of the timepiece. The actual cost of the repair may vary if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. We will notify you of any changes to the estimate and obtain your approval before proceeding. Approval can be provided in writing or verbally.
Full payment is required prior to the return of the repaired timepiece.
A diagnostic and/or rebuild fee may be charged if you decline the repair after approval. This fee covers the time, expertise, and labor involved in diagnosing the issue and reassembling the timepiece.
3. Risk of Loss and Insurance
4. Warranty
Our standard warranty is one (1) year from the date of service and covers defects in workmanship and parts used in the repair, unless a different warranty period is expressly stated in writing at the time of service.
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, liquid damage, normal wear, or unauthorized modifications to the timepiece.
The warranty is void if the timepiece is opened, serviced, or tampered with by anyone other than our repair team.
To request warranty service, the timepiece must be returned to us for evaluation, review, and correction. When returning a watch, please include the original repair ticket number so we can properly coordinate the warranty service with your account.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
By approving a repair estimate verbally, electronically, or in writing, you authorize Times Ticking to perform the approved services and charge the agreed amount upon completion. Because timepiece repairs involve custom labor, diagnostic time, and parts that are specifically sourced, procured, and installed for your timepiece—and which typically remain with the timepiece—we do not accept chargebacks or payment reversals for authorized and completed services. If you experience any issue with your repair, you agree to contact us directly so we may review the concern under our warranty, provide support, and, when appropriate, issue a return shipping label and perform additional evaluation or corrective work. We are committed to resolving valid warranty-related issues and will review and correct covered concerns as many times as reasonably necessary. Initiating a chargeback instead of using our warranty and resolution process constitutes a breach of these Terms, and we reserve the right to submit repair approvals, communications, service records, and delivery confirmation to the payment processor and issuing bank to contest such disputes.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any damages arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the repair.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of use of your timepiece, or any other associated losses.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
7. Abandoned Timepieces
If you fail to pick up your repaired timepiece within 90Â days after we notify you that it is ready, we may consider the device abandoned. We will attempt to contact you via phone and email before considering a device abandoned.
We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before disposing of an abandoned timepiece.
We may sell or otherwise dispose of abandoned timepieces to recoup our costs.
8. SMS/Text Messaging
We use SMS/text messaging through our point-of-sale (POS), to communicate with you regarding appointment reminders, repair updates, and, with your express consent, occasional promotional offers relevant to your device or repair history.
Consent: By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you consent to receive text messages from Times Ticking for the specified purposes. You may provide consent verbally
Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us. Doing so will remove you from all SMS campaigns managed through our POS provider.
