Initially registered under “The Tudor” name, the brand gained prominence in 1946 when Wilsdorf officially launched Montres Tudor SA, focusing on robust and affordable timepieces powered by third-party movements while retaining Rolex’s reliability and craftsmanship. Over the years, Tudor became renowned for tool watches like the Oyster Prince, Submariner, and Pelagos, catering to military, professional divers, and adventure enthusiasts.
