Zeitwinkel watches trace their origins to 2006 in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, when watchmakers Andreas Vollmer and Daniel Hug founded a small independent manufacture dedicated to traditional mechanical watchmaking and precision engineering. Instead of mass production, they focused on developing in-house movements and producing watches in small numbers inspired by the clean, disciplined style of classic Swiss horology.

The company introduced its first watches in 2009 with proprietary automatic calibers, German-silver plates, and balanced dial designs reflecting technical purity and understated style. Produced in limited quantities, Zeitwinkel watches are respected by enthusiasts for their precise engineering, minimalist aesthetics, and dedication to independent Swiss watchmaking.
