The Gavox Squadron was inspired by real military aviation needs, created after Michael Happé collaborated directly with Belgian Air Force squadrons who wanted a rugged, reliable chronograph designed specifically for cockpit use. The pilots needed a watch that was easy to read in turbulence, functional with gloves, and capable of timing mission events with absolute clarity, which led to the Squadron’s large numerals, strong lume, unit-specific insignias, and no-nonsense tool layout.
